Hello, Welcome to the new NZMBA message board. This is where parents of multiples can post messages and offer solutions to other users questions. Be assured that the new NZMBA message board will not be filled with the spam and junk post that the previous board did, as each user account has to be validated before being able to post messages to the message board. Unfortunately the user accounts could not be imported from the old message board. Also the old messages and dates they were published could not be matched up with the user that posted them so they have all been republish by the message board administrator. To use this message board Post a New Message that you feel people will be interested in, people can then add to that thread or post a new message of their own. |

Thanks Jeff for adding this feature to the site, once everyone knows about it, they will hopefully get a lot of value from it. |

just to add a note to those of you who don't know us....we had identical triplet girls - funny watching the doco tonight and thought it would be nice to hook up with some of our old friends. My girls will be 11 this coming New Years Day, and we have a almost 15year old daughter as well. At the time we had our girls, I buried my mum on boxing day prior to their arrival...since we deactivated from the WMBC, we've been busy hard out - as our girls (all 4 of them) are quite sporty...so if you're from Wgtn, you might have seen them time to time on the DOM. the only thing with having triplets apart from the whispers...is the acknowledgement! The do kinda stand out aye?! All good. Back in the day it was all 'hardwork'....these days it's all 'financial'....I think we give the true meaning to 'working parents' hahahaha hope this finds you all well Rikki |

Hi i need some suggestions on toilet training twin boys. they are now 2 1/2. I had 1 of my boys starting to use the potty a few months back but after a few days he saw his brother wasn't interested in it so he won't have anything to do with it. The frustrating thing is that they both know when they need to go. Any suggestions??? |

Hello! My name is Jackie and in January I am coming to Auckland from California on a Fulbright fellowship to the University of Auckland. I have twin daughters who will be 10 months old and a 6 year old son. We will be living in Auckland until June 15, so for 5 1/2 months. I am a member of the twin club here in California ( Twins by the Bay, https://twinsbythebay.clubexpress.com/) and was so happy to learn of this club in Auckland! As you can probably imagine it's a little stressful moving all of us halfway around the world -- but we are very excited about it too. At this point, we need some help getting equipment, and I was wondering if any of you might have leads for us. We are on the search for two cots with mattresses that we can use while we're there. Do any of you have cots to lend or sell, or know of anyone who does? (I don't see full-size cots on the equipment hire list). Eventually we'll need things like high chairs, breast pump, toys -- but for arrival the cots are most important. Are there consignment shops in Auckland, where people sell used baby things? For the first three weeks, we will be renting a home in Pt. Chevalier (and looking for a furnished home to rent for the rest of our stay). Thanks for any help or advice! Jacqueline Shea Murphy |
